Probe Speakers
This is a listing of the individuals who speak at Mind
Games conferences and have contributed to this Notebook.
Kerby Anderson is president of Probe Ministries International. He received his B.S. from Oregon State
University, M.F.S. from Yale University, and M.A. from Georgetown
University. He is the author of several books, including
Genetic Engineering, Origin Science, Living Ethically
in the 90s, Signs of Warning, Signs of Hope, and Moral
Dilemmas. He is a nationally syndicated columnist whose editorials
have appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the Miami Herald,
the San Jose Mercury, and the Houston Post. He is the
host of the "Probe" radio program, and frequently serves as guest host
on "Point of View" (USA Radio Network) and "Open Line" (Moody
Broadcasting Network). He can be reached at

Ray Bohlin is executive director of Probe
Ministries. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.S.,
zoology), North Texas State University (M.S., population genetics),
and the University of Texas at Dallas (M.S., Ph.D., molecular
biology). He is the co-author of the book The Natural Limits
to Biological Change and has published numerous journal
articles. He was named a 1997-98 Research Fellow of the Discovery Institute's
Center for the Renewal of Science and Culture. He can be reached at

Sue Bohlin attended the University of Illinois (Elementary
Education) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has been
a Bible teacher and Christian conference speaker for over 20 years.
In addition to being a professional calligrapher, she maintains

Don Closson is the administrative
director and a research associate with Probe Ministries. He
received the B.S. in education from Southern Illinois University,
the M.S. in educational administration from Illinois State
University, and the M.A. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He served as a public school teacher and administrator
before joining Probe Ministries as a research associate in the
field of education. He can be reached at

Ray Cotton
is the former finance director and treasurer of Probe Ministries.
He received a B.S in business administration/management science from the
University of Northern Colorado, a certificate in Christian studies from the Center for Advanced Biblical Studies and an M.A. in interdisciplinary studies at he University of Texas at Dallas. He now serves in a ministry to international students.

Greg Grooms is a research
associate with the ProbeCenter-Austin on the campus of the
University of Texas. He received the B.S. in biochemistry from
Tulane University. He served for 14 years with L'Abri Fellowship
in Switzerland where he and his wife worked side by side with Dr.
Francis and Edith Schaeffer.
He

Todd Kappelman is a field
associate with Probe Ministries. He is a graduate of Dallas Baptist
University (B.A. and M.A.B.S., religion and Greek), and the University
of Dallas (M.A., philosophy/humanities). Currently he is pursuing a
Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Dallas.
He has served as assistant director of the Trinity Institute,
a study center devoted to Christian thought and inquiry.
He has been the managing editor of The Antithesis, a bi-monthly publication
devoted to the critique of foreign and independent film.
His central area of expertise is Continental philosophy (especially nineteenth
and twentieth century) and postmodern thought.
Rich Milne is a former research associate with Probe Ministries.
He has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Th.M.
from Dallas Theological Seminary. Rich works in the area of the
philosophy and history of science focusing in particular on the
origin of the universe and the origin of life, and the history and
philosophy of art. He currently serves with East-West Ministries in Dallas.

Rick Rood is the former director of publications at Probe Ministries, and now serves as a hospital chaplain. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University (B.A, History) and Dallas Theological Seminary. (Th. M.).
He has pursued Ph.D. studies in theology at D.T.S. and has served as pastor, been a seminary instructor, and has worked for a number of years in ministry to international students. Rick and his wife Polly are the parents of two young adults.

Jerry Solomon, former Director of Field Ministries and Mind Games
Coordinator for Probe Ministries, currently serves as Associate
Pastor at Dallas Bible Church. He received the B.A. (summa cum
laude) in Bible and the M.A. (cum laude) in history and theology
from Criswell College. He has also attended the University of North
Texas, Canal Zone College, and Lebanon Valley College.
Rick Wade graduated
from Moody Bible Institute with a B.A.
in Communications (radio broadcasting) in 1986. He graduated cum
laude in 1990 from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with an M.A.
in Christian Thought (theology/philosophy of religion) where his
studies culminated in a thesis on the apologetics of Carl F. H.
Henry. Rick and his family make their home in Rowlett, Texas. He

Russ Wise, a former associate speaker with Probe, has been an observer of
the occult and cults (both Eastern and Western) for over 20 years. Russ seeks to
create an awareness of these non-biblical teachings in the Christian community,
thereby helping to prevent Christians from falling victim to these deceptions.
He is currently on staff with Christian Information Ministries in Dallas.
Lou Whitworth is the former senior editor at Probe
Ministries, and is currently affiliated with Christian Information
Ministries. He is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University
(B.A., Sociology and English, and M.A., English) and Dallas
Theological Seminary (Th.M., Pastoral Theology). Prior to
joining Probe, Lou taught English literature and composition
at the college level and served with Campus Crusade for Christ
in the Military Ministry as well as the Singles Ministry.

Jimmy Williams is the co-founder and minister-at-large of Probe
Ministries. He holds degrees from Southern Methodist University
(B.A.) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.). He also has pursued
inter-disciplinary doctoral studies (a.b.d.) in the humanities at
the University of Texas at Dallas. During the past thirty years,
he has visited, lectured, and counseled on more than 140 university
campuses in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has also
served on the faculties of the American, Latin American, and

Patrick Zukeran
is an associate speaker with Probe Ministries.
He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego,
California, and holds a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Pat served as
Pastor of Students and Christian Education for twelve years before joining Probe full-time.
