Hello my name is Steve Merchant.
I have been involved in the lives of students for over 20 years. as a high school drama coach, in the business world and as Youth Pastor. My wife Lynn and I have served in three different Alliance churches in youth and college ministries. I have been the Youth Pastor here at North Avenue Alliance Church for the past four years.
The Student Ministry of North Avenue Alliance Church strives to create an atmosphere where students are encouraged to seek God by asking tough questions.
We offer a variety of opportunities to experience God through large meetings, small groups, special events, mission trips and through one on one relationships with our youth staff and with other students.
We meet weekly for fun times and heart challenges. We are building a relational ministry that offers students an avenue to honestly explore Christ in their lives.
Our goal for the Youth Ministry is to Seek God's Face in all that we do. Whether we are playing games, laughing at crowd breakers, eating, talking in small groups, discussing the topic for the day, studying the Bible or praying: we strive to seek God.
We have a loving staff who is committed to the Spiritual growth of each student. Please join us if you are a student in grades six through twelve.

Student Ministries
Our goal for the Youth Ministry is to Seek God's Face in all that we do.
Whether we are playing games, laughing at crowd breakers, eating,
talking in small groups, discussing the evening's topic, studying the Bible or praying;
we strive to seek God.

to honestly explore Christ in their lives.
Our Junior High Ministry meets weekly on Sunday evenings from 5:30-6:45.
Our Senior High Ministry meets weekly on Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00.
Small Groups
Our small groups meet every other Sunday evening at the church or in homes. Our time is spent exploring the Word together in an effort to seek it's application for us in
today's culture. All students in grades six through twelve are welcome. See the schedule
below for small group dates.
